　　70年代百萬金曲「Scarborough Fair（斯卡布羅集市）」，這首原本的英國傳統民謠，因為賽Paul Simon and Garfunkle（保羅.西蒙和加豐科）二重唱在70年代將它翻唱、收錄於電影《The Graduate（畢業生）》的原聲帶中，而成為20世紀最後30年間歷久不衰、最膾炙人口的名曲之一。

畢業生 The Graduate（美國 1967）

　　1967年，「新好萊塢電影」的出現，改變了行之多年的大片廠壟斷制度，更多貼近現實生活和年輕人思想感情的電影出現，使好萊塢電影從純粹的「逃避現實」消遣品逐漸變成「反映現實」的藝術品。在這個電影變革里，達斯廷. 霍夫曼(Dustin Hoffman)的成名作《畢業生》是一部舉足輕重的代表作。

　　邁克．尼科爾斯(Mike Nichols)執導的本片，以一鳴驚人的姿勢出現。劇情描述本恩的父母忙著籌備慶祝他畢業的家庭晚會，但本恩卻對未來生活感到茫然。來客中的魯賓遜太太對這個小夥子很感興趣，不斷挑逗本恩，但被拒絕。可是日子如此無聊，不久后他開始了同魯賓遜太太幽會，同時他也愛上了她的女兒伊萊恩。魯賓遜太太知道真相后堅決反對，並想盡辦法拆散兩人的交往。本恩終於找到機會向伊萊恩表白了愛意，並坦承了自己的墜落，只是沒說出那個夫人的名字。伊萊恩原諒了他，但魯賓遜太太的震怒使伊萊恩猜到了一切。她傷心地決定與別人結婚。本恩得知這一消息，不顧一切向教堂衝去，他要盡最後力量挽回愛人的心。

　　本片的原聲帶由戴夫．格魯辛（Dave Grusin）與保羅．西蒙 （Paul Simon）合作編寫，前者負責音樂部份，後者則負責片中多首插曲，包括膾炙人口的 "The Sound Of Silence", "Scaebrough Fair", "Mrs. Robinson" 等，當年都是令人朗朗上口的暢銷曲。格魯辛是著名爵士樂鋼琴手，但配樂風格頗為多樣化，本片偏向清新的民謠風，頗能反映入世未深的大學生心境。西蒙則是著名民謠二重唱 "Simon And Garfunkel" 的作曲主將，歷年參與電影配樂的作品只有5部，去年的《成名之路》（Almost Famous）是最新作品。
