taiwan is 20 years advanced in terms of social development

in compare with mainland.

at least all the public toilet is clean and tidy.

I suggest you guy can visit taiwan, because Australian passport does not need visa like you go to mainland.

the reason why I never been to mainland is becos I heard from people not sure if it has been 10 yrs back, that the toilet is not the clean.... and some places are very inconvient..... worse no door....  

but, now.... at least change a little.... cos I have many friend in the mainland.... and also heard abt the postive side..... maybe changed better.....

depends on where you go or stay,  better than before for sure.  most public toilets are ok.  has changed greatly.

yes..... that's why now then I think of going to mainland if I have the time... and of course have the money.... hehe....

but sadly that due to the current Green party carries out a policy to distance themselves with mainland, so a lot of historical site loosing the attration to a tourist like me who is try to look for trues left over from past.

it was an accident that I sat in one little bus with 2 of the tai lian's leader of taiwan and 2 supporters in N Y. USA.

by my experience, they are so low that just try to fish from there false claim of independence, and they believe that the mainland is not going to launch attacks if they play hard.  and they just want to cheat votes and get elected to profit from it.
