美國的製造業基本上都外移，而只有軍工製造業留在國內。美國的軍事系統優勢在於，它比較擅長設計全球的系統，以及多樣性的武器。別的國家, 一是國家範圍比較小，二是沒有那麼大的資本，比較擅長生產單件，生產不屬於系統性的產品，或者整個系統中的部分產品，或者比較單一的品種。
Manufacturing in US has largely moved out of the country, with only military manufacturing remaining at home. America's military system has the advantage of being good at designing global systems, as well as a variety of weapons. Other countries, on the one hand, are relatively small in scope, and on the other hand, have less capital and are better at producing products that are not systemic only unit, or parts of the system not as a whole, or a single variety.
