美國另闢蹊徑

因為不可能超越歐洲的文化所以美國才另闢蹊徑走自己的文化創新路線  Because it is impossible to transcend European culture, the U.S. takes a different path and pursues its own cultural innovation line.
交大在深圳開分部，上海原交大校長去那邊做校長了，換了新的林忠欽做交大校長. 這是他第一次演講，講交大人要追隨祖國的發展！這是對研究生做演講，是對高級人才. 但如在政治上用祖國去限制他們，我覺得有點狹隘了. 某一行業的翹楚應該是在這個行業各方面都打過滾的，才能成為專家，祖國能保證提供這些高級人才在行業各方面「打滾」機會嗎？全球化，不同地區有不同的環境條件，會產生不同的需要和市場，光工程界的應用就會產生很多的varieties. 如果人才只在祖國那所見有限的，比如現在機器人的研發，如果能夠跟世界頂級的比如德國, 美國, 日本一起合作，超越國界，這也是提升中國這方面技術實力的捷徑. 而且有些方面別人強，那就利用這一點，讓別人也有一個立足的市場，為什麼中國也一定要跟別人平起平坐或者超越呢？美國人很識相，他們知道在西方文明中永遠不可能超越歐洲的文化，要趕上歐洲不知道哪年哪月，所以美國才另闢蹊徑走自己的文化創新路線，所以才會有好萊塢的電影和迪士尼主題創意公園！國家和學子是在不同地位的，有不同的能力做不同事情. 學子靠個人能力是沒有辦法進行整體的大規模的系統性的項目的，既便再有能力，不在其位沒有辦法橫向聯繫的. 比如我有能力，卻沒有辦法組成一個諮詢公司，去為美國這邊千瘡百孔的國防設計修稿，沒人會睬我的. 國家是為人民服務的，應該根據需要創建更多的平台，為學子提供展現才華的機會，提供互相聯合合作創新的機會，提供開展項目所需要的資金，這樣才留得住人才. 而不是不盡責任有錢花錯地方，沒有遠見不為國家長期規劃，不為學子將來著想卻責備學子要求太多的！我覺得他應該這麼說，國家現在引領一帶一路，有比外界更豐富更廣大的前景和機會，可以為學子創造更大的發展和自我提升空間. 中國是祖國，有其他國家無可比擬的各種資源，中國更是迅速發展的國家，並在發展中會恵及世界其他國家，其中所需要的工程方面的人才是多多益善，希望學子們認清世界大局，搭國家發展廣闊前景的順風車！ 如果真的中國重用人才，我就不會在這閑賦了，交大的千萬校友散布世界各地，知識, 經驗, 背景雄厚，如按勞分配用他們，向他們拿創意諮詢，交大就是世界一流大學！上次黨委書記姜斯憲上台居然說自己不會說英文，不會英文的人要麼無知藐視外人，要麼被別人白痴利用。這是中國21世紀一流學府的黨委書記，在台上唱兩隻老虎兒歌. 我有時候覺得奇怪，交大後面的不知道是誰在掌控. OMG,我下次再不敢去交大了！

Globalization, different regions have different environmental conditions, will generate different needs and markets. The application of the engineering industry alone will generate a lot of variants. If the talents are only in the motherland, then what they see is limited. For example, the current research and development of robots, if they can cooperate with the world's top such as Germany, the United States, and Japan, beyond national borders, this is also a shortcut to improve China's technological strength in this regard. And in some areas if others are strong, then use this to let others have a foothold in the market. Why must China be equal to or surpass others? Americans know very well that in Western civilization it is never possible to surpass European culture. They have to catch up with Europe and do not know which year or month. That』s why the United States has taken a different path to pursue its own cultural innovation line, and that』s why there are Hollywood movies and Disney theme creative park!  Countries and students are in different positions and have different abilities to do different things. Students cannot rely on their personal ability to carry out overall large-scale systemic projects. Even if they have the ability, there is no way to connect horizontally. For example, I have the ability, but there is no way to form a consulting company to revise the design of the defense system in the United States. No one will pay attention to me. The country serves the people. It should create more platforms as needed, provide students with opportunities to showcase their talents, provide opportunities for joint cooperation and innovation, and provide the funds needed to carry out projects in order to retain talents. Not that the country doesn』t fulfill its responsibilities, it has the money to spend in the wrong place, and it plans for the country without vision. The country has to think about the students' future, but not blame the students for asking too much! I think it  should say something like this, "The country now leads the Belt and Road Initiative. It has richer and broader prospects and opportunities than the outside world, and it can create greater space for students to develop and improve themselves. China is the motherland and has unmatched resources compared to other countries. China is a rapidly developing country and will affect other countries in the world during its development. Among them, the engineering talents needed are more and better, and I hope that students will recognize the overall situation of the world and take the ride of a country with broad prospects! " If China really reuses talent, I will not be idle here. Ten million alumni of Jiaotong University are scattered around the world, with knowledge, experience and strong background. If you use them according to their work, get creative ideas and advice from them, Jiaotong University is a world-class university!
