城市設計應保持其原有特色。

城市設計應該以它原有的特色為基準，在此基礎上進行發展和弘揚，而不是另類地重啟爐灶. Urban design should be based on its original characteristics, on this basis go development and promotion, rather than restarting in an alternative way.

中國現在大多數城鎮的規劃卻顯得凌亂,審美有所欠缺  The planning of most towns in China is now messy and the aesthetics are lacking.
親愛的主席，88，今天電視里看到，中印第四次論壇召開，中國和印度開展全方位的合作，徐紹史大主任和印度簽訂了16個項目合約，160億美元大單！中國會在城市規劃, 基礎建設, 公路鐵路等方面在印度投資. 真是說曹操，曹操就到！哈哈哈 恭喜你們！ 當美國所有學校里重文輕理，整個國家的工業體系只剩下軍工，而這些製造硬傢伙---武器，以及整個社會系統的神經控制--IT行業和軟體控制，落在以印度人日本人為主的亞洲人手裡的時候，遲早有被架空的可能！@$#%》^_^& 誰讓你們不好好學數學！雖然黑人和拉丁裔有著強壯的肌肉，在軍隊中也佔據高位並握有槍杆子，但是按電鈕的手指，打電腦的手指, 後面所連接的頭腦是需要高等智慧有接近上帝的思維, 那卻不屬於黑人也不屬於拉丁裔. 不同於門羅主義，現在的美洲已經不只是美洲人的美洲了，實際上所有的大陸都不是了！嘿嘿嘿 如果還按照歷史的慣性和冷戰思維，用虛無縹緲的偏激意識形態朝前行，那就是死胡同了！識時務者為俊傑，莫迪他們是俊傑！ 中國智庫是非常有智慧的，這次所簽訂的項目基本上都是與文化與人文直接接觸的表面關係不大的！這樣的切入比較容易，而且阻力小見效快. 而且這都是從印度最需要的基礎設施開始的, 比如修建公路, 鐵路, 橋樑, 城市規劃等等. 應該說, 中國智庫也缺少在文化精神領域與其它國家地區溝通的經驗與人才. 從中國本國來說, 因為媒體受控制，中國大眾做事情比較一窩蜂追隨媒體宣傳的價值！這個有好處, 因為在引導消費上很快就可以有一個龐大的市場來匯聚利潤，缺點是大眾比較無知不知道真實價值. 比如一窩蜂來美投資買房產，一窩蜂把孩子送到美國的教育系統受半吊子教育, 都得不償失！ 既使是在基礎建設城市規劃這些領域 ，也不可能, 也不應該完全追隨中國的經驗！就拿浙江來說，中國早期的改革開放實驗並沒有重視環境，雖然發展很快, 利潤很高, 人民富裕，但浙江一帶, 如果一路開車過去很多地方水土污染嚴重，有些城鎮我都不願意停下休息，因為有化學氣味. 就連美麗的杭州，我也覺得有些建築造得煞風景，建築形式和環境格格不入，片面追求高大上而不是整體的風格, 有點破壞景觀. 以色列的耶路撒冷號稱golden city, 因為全城的房子都是用一種米色的岩石做外牆的，這種岩石產於靠近以色列北部的山中，洛杉磯這邊的Getty center 博物館, 也是從那兒進口用這樣的岩石做外牆的. Getty 建築總設計師是猶太人. 當太陽落山的時候，落日餘暉照在整個耶路撒冷，為聖城披上一層金色的外衣，這就是golden city的由來.  我覺得在城市規劃上中國人的審美有所欠缺，也許在建築系藝術系的人不多吧，太專註於建築功能了吧. 你看北京的故宮規劃多麼整齊，建築多優美。而中國現在大多數城鎮的規劃卻顯得凌亂，雖然看上去很多的高樓大廈，也許每一個高層建築有它的特色，也許每一個小區現在有它的美，但作為一個整體的城市卻缺少藝術美感.

Look how neat the planning of the Forbidden City in Beijing is, and the architecture is beautiful. The planning of most towns in China is now messy. Although it seems that many high-rise buildings, perhaps every high-rise building has its own characteristics, perhaps every community now has its beauty, but the city as a whole lacks artistic beauty. .
