南加冬天一個小時之內可以滑雪游泳衝浪.  In the winter of southern Cal, you can ski and swim within an hour driving distance.


洛杉磯這邊冬天才有雨，一月份是雨季. 因為洛杉磯習慣了燦爛陽光, 所以下雨時車禍就多, 還到處堵車, 今天早上就因為堵車Jackie上學遲到了. 而且到處會積水. 有一年居然把去機場高速下車的彎道都淹掉了. 雖然洛杉磯是南加，但是冬天還是挺冷的，沒有暖氣受不了！昨天下了一晚的雨, 凌晨被雨聲吵醒了, 在寂靜的深夜裡聽著雨打著後院那個大樹的闊葉，一股寒氣襲來，趕緊多裹一層被子. 一早起來卻陽光燦爛，北邊的山脈上一層白雪，在藍天和大地中間那一層白多麼醒目，想起了南美的安第斯山脈，好啊, 過兩天可以去滑雪了吧！住南加這兒，冬天一個小時之內可以去山上滑雪, 也可以去海邊游泳衝浪.

There is rain in Los Angeles winter, and the rainy season is in Spring. Because Los Angeles is used to the bright sunshine, there are many car accidents when it rains, and there are traffic jams everywhere. This morning, Jackie is late for school because of traffic jam. And there will be water everywhere. One year, it actually drowned the corner that freeway got offto the airport. Although Los Angeles is southern California, but the winter is still very cold, hard to stand without heating ! Yesterday, the rain fell for the whole night, and in the morning I was awakened by the rain. In the quiet late night, listening to the rain hitting the broad leaves of the big tree in the backyard, a cold wind hit, and I quickly wrapped a layer of quilt. In the morning the sun is shining, the snow line in the mountains on the north side is white, and the white layer in the middle of the blue sky and the earth is so eye-catching. I think of the Andes in South America. Well, I can go skiing in afew days! Staying in Southern California, you can go skiing in the mountains, within an hour of driving, or you can go swimming and surfing at the beach.
