Hi, below is what I found from the Internet. However, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND you check this issue with you lawyer or immigration officers in your school's International Student Service Center.
Good luck.
If you have graduated and plan to leave the country and return to the U.S., you may not return to the U.S. as a student in F-1 status, even if you have a valid F-1 visa, because you have already graduated. If however, you have applied for optional practical training, travel may be a possibility, after you have received your EAD card. The following documents are needed to re-enter the U.S. during your period of authorized optional practical train
Valid passport
Valid visa
I-20 with travel endorsement. The signature should have been no more than six (6) months old.
Employment Authorization Document (EAD) card. This is your legal permission to work.
Be prepared to provide proof of your employment if you have found a job. If you have not yet found a job, be prepared to provide some evidence of your efforts to find a job in your field of study.
If you visa has expired when you travel on optional practical training, you will need to apply for a new visa. This can be risky and denials are common as you have already finished your academic program.
