They may have become to the go-to fashion accessory for men, but those with beards are more likely to be sexist, get into fights, cheat on their partners and steal, two new studies have revealed。
The first of the two surveys, which involved 500 menaged between 18 and 72 from India and the US,studied men with nine facial hairstyles varying inlength - from light stubble to a heavy beard。
The group was asked to pick one that best matched their own facial hair and were then asked to agree or disagree with a series of statements about gender roles。

The survey of 2,000 people by video network Eva and Censuswide found that 47 percent of men with beard had cheated on their partner, compared to 20 per cent clean-shaven men。 The study revealed that 45 per cent of men with facial hair regularly got into fights compared to 29 per cent of those with no beard.It also found that 40 per cent of men with facial hair admitted to having stolen something compared to just 17 percent of non-bearded men。
