請教申請美國公民（naturalization）問題

請問各位前輩：

INS規定持有綠卡連續5年每年有半年在美居住就可以申請公民，那，我沒有離開過美國，是不是拿綠卡4年半的時候就可以遞交申請了呢？還是必須等滿5年？

另外，從申請到宣誓大概要多長時間？

You can apply (sent your application in) 90 days before your 5 years date, so if 1/1/05 is your 5 years date, then you can send in the application on 10/1/04. You can find the information from the Gov website. Right now it takes 1 year for the office to process your application. Here is the link:
