He Yi Prominent Chinese Soprano

He Yi has achieved fame in China as a soprano singing both traditional Chinese folk songs and traditional Chinese opera. She was born in Li county of Hunan province and earned her Master』s degree from the China Music Conservatory. She has four times won first prize in Chinese national folk song competitions in China and has held solo concerts at such venues as the China National Centre for the Performing Arts and the Beijing Concert Hall. She has played the leading role in the modern Chinese opera 「Grieve for the Dead,」 as well as in the Chinese traditional operas 「Five Daughters Offering Felicitation,」 「The Stolen Flower」 and 「Unpaid Tuition Fee.」 Moreover she has performed in the musical 「Red Child,」 which was produced by Beijing TV. She is currently on a tour in both America and Europe.

何怡，中國傑出女高音，湖南人。1999年始，曾學習4年中國傳統戲曲（湖南花鼓戲）；后在中國音樂學院學習7年民族聲樂，獲碩士學位；2009年開始對西方音樂產生濃厚興趣並嘗試演唱西方藝術歌曲及歌劇；2010年始，遊學西方國家，與世界各地的音樂家們保持密切的合作，以及大量的中西方音樂交流。2007年--2010年，何怡已在國家大劇院、北京音樂廳以及北京、湖南、山西等地成功舉辦多場獨唱音樂會；在國家大劇院等地成功演出音樂劇《紅孩子》、中國抒情歌劇《傷逝》、古典花鼓戲《五女拜壽》、《盜花》、《討學錢》等；何怡還曾四次榮獲全國歌唱比賽的金獎。2010年曾與中國著名聲樂教育家馬秋華教授、藝術指導西沙老師一起，在國家大劇院成功舉辦三場聲樂藝術講座。2011年受「中國音樂歐洲基金會《磬》」邀請，在荷蘭名校萊頓大學講學，教授中國民歌。同年應荷蘭Kamer operahuis歌劇院邀請主演現代歌劇<as BIG as the SKY>，在荷蘭首演獲得熱烈反響，被譽為「陽光般閃耀的中國女高音歌唱家」。
