netat.net has removed its own translation software.
now the translation software in use is Babelfish, a SYSTRAN product. ii have found it more native in choosing english words than netat's proprietary software (no longer available online) but not as good in writing up sentences. i suspect that it could use a smaller dictionary and a less well trained kernel.
although babelfish is less capable of making a grammatically sound sentence, it gives us the benefit of doubt, allowing more alternatives to be proposed for the word or phrase concerned. it also stresses the importance of human intervention that could eliminate many unnecessary errors in the final outcome.
