故宮將開放御膳房以及太子宮殿(雙語)

The Palace Museum has announced plans to open its western routes on Sept. 29. The royal icehouse, imperial kitchen and Yuqing Palace (the crown prince's residence) will open to the public at a later date. A platform will also open from which visitors will be able to view Jiangshan Park from afar.

　　9月29日，故宮博物院宣布了開放故宮西側觀光路線的計劃。皇家冰庫、御膳房以及毓慶宮（皇太子的寢宮）晚些時候將向大眾開放。同時，可以讓遊客遠觀景山公園的平台也將會開放。

　　Shan Jixiang, the curator of the Palace Museum, revealed on Sept. 5 that the exhibition layouts would be changed in the next four years. In addition, the cultural relic "hospital" and royal icehouse will open before the end of 2016.

　　9月5日，故宮博物院院長單霽翔表示，未來四年內展覽布局將會變化。此外，文化遺產「故宮醫院」以及皇家冰庫都將在2016年底開放迎客。

　　"These new routes will increase the touring area, as well as bring changes to exhibition layouts," said Shan.

　　單館長表示，「這些新的路線將會為展覽布局帶來變化，還也會使遊覽區域擴大」。

　　According to Shan, there are plans in the works to open exhibitions that introduce visitors to royal life. Yongshou Palace, one of the six western palaces where concubines lived, will exhibit traditional Chinese medicine and food consumed by the royal court. Toys that emperors played with in their childhoods will be also on display. The imperial kitchen will host an exhibition on royal cooking utensils.

　　據單館長介紹，博物院正計劃進行向遊客介紹皇家生活的展覽。作為西六宮之一的永壽宮是明清皇帝妃嬪居住的地方，在此處將展出中藥和宮廷御膳。帝王幼年的玩具也在展出之列。御膳房將展出皇家廚房用具。

A systematic repair of the Forbidden City wall has been scheduled for the first time ever. A section of the wall will be opened to the public next year, offering visitors an additional viewing platform.

　　對紫禁城城牆進行系統性的修復實屬首次。其中的一段城牆將在明年向公眾開放，為遊客提供額外的遊覽平台。

　　The area of the Palace Museum that is open to the public will reach 76 percent of its total by the end of 2016; by 2020, that number will rise to 80 percent, and by 2025 to 85 percent. The exhibition hall at Shenwu Gate will add a second floor, intended to serve as a contemporary exhibition hall in the future.

　　截至2016年底，故宮博物院向公眾開放的區域將達到76%；到2020年，開放的區域將達到80%，到2025年則會達到85%。神武門的展廳將加建兩層，使其能在未來充當暫時的展廳。
