Re:  Objection by Microsoft Corporation to
Registration & Use of Domain Name windows7.ca

We represent Microsoft Corporation and are writing to seek your immediate
cooperation in resolving a trade-mark matter.
As you may know, Microsoft is the owner of the word famous trade-mark WINDOWS
which it has used in Canada and throughout the world in association with
computer software and related wares and services.  WINDOWS is the subject of a
number of trade-mark registrations in Canada, including Registration Nos.
TMA459,607, TMA479,464 and TMA561,972, among others.
Copies of particulars for these registrations are attached.  These
registrations grant our client the exclusive right to the use throughout Canada
of the trade-mark in respect of those wares and services for which they are
registered, as well as the right to prevent any use by a person who sells,
distributes or advertises wares or services in association with a confusing
trade-mark or domain name.  Our client has also recently announced its plans to
market and sell its next generation of computer operating system in association
with the trade-mark WINDOWS 7.
Our client has recently learned that you have registered and are using the
domain name windows7.ca in association with a pornographic web site which
includes pay-per-click advertisements.  Your use, registration, and profiting
from this domain name conflicts with Microsoft』s trade-mark rights to WINDOWS
and WINDOWS 7.  As a trade-mark owner, Microsoft is required to watch for and
take reasonable steps to remedy infringement and dilution of its marks.
We require your immediate cooperation in resolving this matter.  Specifically,
we ask that you permanently discontinue use of the domain name windows7.ca and
any other domain name containing the trade-mark WINDOWS, or any other words
confusing with the trade-mark WINDOWS including WINDOWS7, WINDOWS 7, etc.

We also ask that you take all steps to immediately transfer the domain name
windows7.ca to Microsoft Corporation.  This can be accomplished by changing the
registrar』s Administrative Contact information for each domain name to:

suffered from you through the Courts or otherwise.

除非你能證明這個網域你2000年以前就有了，那你就可以反咬微軟發財了。^_^

哈哈。大的問題沒有，你也不會有什麼損失。可能這個網址要被收回了。僅此而已。

You have broken the basic business law.  There are several steps to do. You must be very carefully and find the legal rights that can/cannot support to you. Bottom line, you need to settle with MS.  Another word, money.

spend money and consult a lawyer.
if you registered a KKK.com, you may have more trouble.

Microsoft doesn't own the word 'Windows'. It has never used Windows1-6 before. You have all the legal rights to defend you. Hopefully you can get some money for your domain name.
