在澳洲看免費網路電視的方法與技巧

　　小編說：留學在外，除了要積極適應英語環境以外，為解相思之情，收看一些中文電視也在情理之中。但是在澳洲要看中文電視，除非你住House，安裝了大鍋（衛星天線）或者小碟子（如華人衛視）外，最主要的方式就是通過網路在線或下載一些中文電視節目。但是留學生大多數是租房子居住，幾個人合用一條寬頻是常事，而且澳洲的寬頻每個月都有流量限制。如果太過頻繁佔用帶寬看視頻，到了月底就是一屋子人干瞪著64k的帶寬鬱悶了吧！

　　現在小編要介紹的是一位留園網友向大家介紹的通過IPTV收看中文電視的方式。

　　

　　要看IPTV，首先要選擇TPG的寬頻服務。

　　一種方法是花300澳元去買一個解碼器，一頭接寬頻路由器，另一頭接電視機，這種方法比較簡單，適合有錢人，呵呵。另一種方法適合筆者這樣的窮人，只要連接的是TPG的寬頻網路，就可以看免費的IPTV了，而且不佔流量，合算啊！

　　筆者使用TPG的ADSL 2＋網路已兩年了，開始的時候沒有設置好，無法看，也就放下了。最近天冷了，躲在被窩裡看電視是一件舒服又省錢的事情，也是對抗金融風暴的妙招，於是下精力仔細研究了一下，甚有心得，就介紹給大家。

　　Step1：Sign Up

　　如你家裡已連接了TPG的寬頻網路，那麼要先註冊免費的IPTV服務。如你的網速夠快，附近的exchange提供IPTV服務，你就可以成功登記了。

　　Step 2：Set up

　　先要下載安裝VLC Media Player。VLC多媒體播放器（最初命名為VideoLAN客戶端）是VideoLAN計劃的多媒體播放器。它支持眾多音頻與視頻解碼器及檔案格式，並支持DVD影碟，VCD影碟及各類串流協定。它亦能作為unicast 或multicast的串流伺服器在IPv4 或 IPv6的高速網路連線下使用。它融合了FFmpeg計劃的解碼器與libdvdcss程式庫使其有播放多媒體檔案及加密DVD影碟的功能。

　　Setup當然就是設置Modem，或者是Modem Router（如果你的是二合一的話）。常用Modem的設置方法在這裡，如果你是用Netcomm NB6系列（NB6，NB6W，NB6＋4W），你可以參考Dynalink RTA 1320 的設置方法。有人說對於NB6W和NB6plus4W, 需要disable Wireless Networks，IPTV才能使用。我認為也許是正確的，但是經過我升級了modem的固件（firmware）后，當Wireless Network 是 Enabled的時候，小房客用wireless上網打魔獸，我看IPTV一點沒有影響。而且根據TPG的介紹，IPTV只能用網線連接看，不能使用wireless看，可能是速度不夠。但是在實踐中，我將wireless的multicast rate調到9Mbps，照樣能看，而且畫面效果不錯。

　　對於firewall的設置，需要打開UDP Port 1234 ，詳情可參閱這裡。

　　Step 3：觀看

　　默認的方法，觀看IPTV需要登錄TPG的IPTV網頁，在網頁上觀看。這樣的話，比較麻煩，而且無法全屏觀看，除非你同筆者一樣，電腦是用DVI cable，VGA cable 或者S-vedio cable（根據你的顯卡和電視機的介面情況）連接電視機的，如圖進行了設置，否則的話，畫面太小，看起來就不爽了。
　　
　　另一種方法就是直接用VLC Media Player 播放。如圖，File -> open network, 輸入 http://avenard.org/iptv/playlist-tpg-vlc.m3u 然後點擊Play，就能看了。如圖：

　　這個Play list有些陳舊，有的台已失效，有些新的台沒有列入。我收集了些資料，花了幾小時，編了一個目前來說應該是最完整的Play List，貼在下面兩線中間，需要的話，複製拷貝到記事本，再以擴展名.pls存下來，如tpg-iptv.pls, 然後導入VLC播放器，就可以看了。如上面第一張圖。

怎麼導入播放列表啊

My router busted today. I have several devices (laptops, gaming systems, etc) using the wireless. However, only one of the 3 laptops used in my home have N capability (the laptops use the router more than anything - except when my son is home from college).  SO - I want to buy a new router with N capability, but the G devices must still be able to use them. Is N automatically backwards capable to G (understanding that the G devices will not gain the benefits). I just want to be certain that an N router will work with G devices. And any suggestions on brands/models?
