Looking for a hotel in Chinatown, New York

Dear all,

I am shortly living America. (I have to apologize for writing in English over here. I could not use the Chinese input sometime for no reason.) I have a friend will come and stop in New York for about 4 days. He needs my help to book a hotel in New York. He wants the room is as cheap as 60 bucks. I searched sorts of website, but I could not find one. A friend suggests me to try Chinatown (by Brooklyn).

Right before I give up, right before I go to bed. I thought I might be able to receive some help from here.

This apartment property is situated in New York, near Lower East Side Tenement Museum and The Orpheum Theater. Other nearby points of interest include Brooklyn Bridge.

hotels under 60 dollar per day in NYC downtown, very hard to find.
use hotel.com you may find some in china town. for his safety, go 100-150$ hotels.

    to get a price below $60, you can not go to regular hotel.  you need to find the family hotel (without licenses).  there are tens of such hotels in queens, nyc.
