Biblical Teaching on Peace 平安

With peace, or peaceful, is godly mindset, which comes from God. Peace is also the fruit of the Holy Spirit, who planted the peace in the true belivers' heart. Peace is great comfort, which is replacing the worry and fear.

Let's learn the biblical teaching on peace and have it in our heart and manifest it in our words and deeds, with which glorifying God, our provider of peace.

Genesis 15:15
"As for you, you shall go to your fathers in peace; you will be buried at a good old age.

Genesis 25:27
When the boys grew up, Esau became a skillful hunter, a man of the field, but Jacob was a peaceful man, living in tents.

Genesis 26:29
that you will do us no harm, just as we have not touched you and have done to you nothing but good and have sent you away in peace. You are now the blessed of the LORD.'"

Genesis 26:31
In the morning they arose early and exchanged oaths; then Isaac sent them away and they departed from him in peace.

Genesis 44:17
But he said, "Far be it from me to do this. The man in whose possession the cup has been found, he shall be my slave; but as for you, go up in peace to your father."

Exodus 4:18
Then Moses departed and returned to Jethro his father-in-law and said to him, "Please, let me go, that I may return to my brethren who are in Egypt, and see if they are still alive." And Jethro said to Moses, "Go in peace."

Exodus 18:23
"If you do this thing and God so commands you, then you will be able to endure, and all these people also will go to their place in peace."

Exodus 20:24
'You shall make an altar of earth for Me, and you shall sacrifice on it your burnt offerings and your peace offerings, your sheep and your oxen; in every place where I cause My name to be remembered, I will come to you and bless you.

Exodus 24:5
He sent young men of the sons of Israel, and they offered burnt offerings and sacrificed young bulls as peace offerings to the LORD.

Exodus 29:28
"It shall be for Aaron and his sons as their portion forever from the sons of Israel, for it is a heave offering; and it shall be a heave offering from the sons of Israel from the sacrifices of their peace offerings, even their heave offering to the LORD.

Exodus 32:6
So the next day they rose early and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.

Leviticus 3:1
[ The Law of Peace Offerings ] 'Now if his offering is a sacrifice of peace offerings, if he is going to offer out of the herd, whether male or female, he shall offer it without defect before the LORD.

Note: after several citations of peace offerings , I will stop citating the verse for peace offerings. In the Bible, according to NASB, "peace offerings" appear 82 times, and "peace offering" twice, totaling 84 times.

Leviticus 26:6
' I shall also grant peace in the land, so that you may lie down with no one making you tremble I shall also eliminate harmful beasts from the land, and no sword will pass through your land.

Numbers 6:26
The LORD lift up His countenance on you,And give you peace.'

Numbers 25:12
"Therefore say, ' Behold, I give him My covenant of peace;

Deuteronomy 2:26
" So I sent messengers from the wilderness of Kedemoth to Sihon king of Heshbon with words of peace, saying,

Deuteronomy 20:10
"When you approach a city to fight against it, you shall offer it terms of peace.

Deuteronomy 20:11
"If it agrees to make peace with you and opens to you, then all the people who are found in it shall become your forced labor and shall serve you.
