stay in USA, how? an australian citizen

I am travling in USA from australia, and I am considering to stay in US due to family reason, but it takes too long to migrate via family reunion .

so I am thinking of buy a business in PA to either support my living and at same time faciliate the immigration.

but how? what sort of opptions in front of me?

an agent suggest me to buy a gas station and apply as an employee.

procedure as follow:

1: extend my B2 visa and get working permit
2. apply green card via employment..

it will take 3 years to get the green card and another 5 years to get us citizenship.

but the agent is not guarrentte anything, therefore I have to gain a bit of knowledge and feasibility study, otherwise I will waste my time and money..

so if anyone can help me out there please! [:818:]

just kick the ball to immigration department and tell them your situation, and then you do whatever you like, working fo others or your business, and do not forget to get Tax file number. You should not be limited by leagle processes. You are Asutralian citizen, they have no many things to do with you.

so many people from States and British work in Australia, anybody see any of them are locked in detention centre?

therefore, they are treaty country.

of course, they should not have any problem to stay in Australia, so Australian are same in States.

seems like most of the people like to move out...

not exactly, just the sister of my wife is pretty much stressed out by herself alone (hubi have to stay in mainland to manage an investment),  she has a well paid job and cannot move around, and my wife (her sister ) just lucky enough can pick and choose where to live...  but I have to depart with my  brother and my parents in sydney... not very faire right?

just curious, then how abt your job?  

dose that mean you are going to look for another job in US?  or you can relocate from your current?

I do not have to work any more, but for better living and better future, I might need to buy another business in US to raise some extra fund to pay for better accomadation in an better suburb, school of my kid and travle...oh buy what I want...

I want a job, but the job won't pay me well.. .. very sorry I have to take risk to invest...  pitty am I...  therefore, I have to arrange everything in sydney... it is headeck my dear!

if you have money, you can use your money to make money. it is much easier to compare the people without money.

investment is sort of business itself.

invest and risk is twin and I do not like risks
