I never use any software. I don't believe any software would help you(I
meant for short term trend). If the software is so wonderful, why don't they
sell to you. This statement would upset some people on this
board, I am telling the truth.

Of course, I read quite a bit. Like wallstreet online, cbsmarket watch and
Yahoo finance. Software that helps you to find undervalue stock is a
different story. I do use software to do stock screening.

短線的話怎麼發現一個股票大的價格波動會出現? You have to look at their
history. If the stock can move up/down very quickly, normally, the stock has
bigger 價格波動. Normally, 價格波動 will be bigger follow by the big stock
movement in either direction. Like LVS/MGM, recently, these two stocks tends
to be a little more stable.

Currently, Airlines stocks had huge move in a very short time, 價格波動 is
very big. Like yesterday, I shorted UAUA and covered. then UAUA was up 0.15
from down 40 to 50 cents, I noticed CAL was still down 50 cents, so I bought
a few cal at 17.10 and made a little money.(relative valuation trade)

As I said, if you can be 60% correct on short term trend, you can make a
living. YOu can improve the exuction later.

In a typical day, I only follow 15-20 stocks.
