Dear Vladimir, 今天你要我講以色列和地中海。其實我覺得以色列不是一個孤零零的地中海東岸的國家。我們去希臘旅遊，就覺得包括雅典在內，亞平寧半島南部越來越沙漠化。聖托里尼島上只有觀光區是修整粉刷，有視覺上的美感，大多數地區都是乾旱缺水，甚至連葡萄藤都是乾巴巴沿著地面生長的。我當時就在想，應該請中國人建設大軍到這邊來種樹。幾年下來那邊的房地產就會欣欣向榮，因為海景已經在那邊了！土耳其沿著地中海都是沙漠化，稀稀拉拉的幾棵綠色的樹，滿眼黃黃的沙土地. 黎巴嫩靠近海邊，還有些綠地，內陸都是沙漠了。以色列北部還有水源可以發展農業，南部除了海邊城市Eliot ，其餘都是沙漠呀。其實整個中東， 阿拉伯半島，也許是因為阿拉伯的游牧文化，不事耕種，有大片大片的沙漠化土地呢！ 這種地理位置和氣候很像加州。可是記得當年洛杉磯到聖地亞哥，中間帶也是一大片光禿禿的閑置的土地。可是現在沿著海邊，各種各樣的生活區商業區辦公區都一點一點建設起來，沿海邊5號公路一直開過去，滿眼的綠樹草地呀。邊上就是地中海，有什麼辦法，可以把海水人工降雨到中東內地呢？這樣，再配合人工造林，那就可以象加州，或者黑海沿岸的鬱鬱蔥蔥了。

This location and climate is very similar to California. but I remember that before from Los Angeles to San Diego, the middle belt is also a large piece of bare land. On the edge of the Mediterranean Sea, is there any way to artificially spray seawater into the Middle East?
