Fire Alarm

A fire alarm rang at 4 PM when almost all employees were in office.

As usual the entire office was evacuated within 3 minutes and all the employees gathered outside the office.

10 minutes passed........ then 5 more minutes passed.

A Security Officer read an announcement: "Dear Employees - With a heavy heart, I make this announcement that it will be the last evacuation drill for many of you. We are laying off almost 80% employees. While returning to work, if your access card doesn't work, you are hereby laid off and all your belongings will be couriered to you tomorrow. We followed this approach as we don't want to send layoff emails in thousands and also to avoid any fights inside the office. Hope you have a nice career ahead.

Please return to work now and try your luck".

It's a joke............cruel but funny.... :)
