孤獨如風-第十九章

這是一間寬敞的辦公室，雖然牆壁四周沒有任何窗戶，但是依舊被燈光照得雪亮。在正對門的一面牆壁前，擺著一張巨大的橡木辦公桌，桌后的黑皮椅上坐著那位曾經和黑衣人首領Boss在室內停車場碰面的白髮老者，他正仰靠在椅子上抽著一根粗大的雪茄。

辦公室的門被人推開，Boss和一個黑衣人架著一個頭上套著黑布袋、雙手反銬在背後的女士走了進來。Boss拉過一把椅子放到辦公桌前，把女士按坐在椅子上，另外一個黑衣人扯下了她頭上的黑布袋,Cathy那因為恐懼而略顯蒼白的臉露了出來。

看到Cathy的樣子，白髮老者皺了皺眉，他在煙灰缸里按滅了雪茄，對Boss說道：「I told you guys to invite my guest here but not in this way.（我告訴你們請我的客人到這裡來，但是不是這樣的。）Boss從腰后拔出那把劉風留給Cathy的CZ75 SP01手槍扔到了辦公桌上，瓮聲瓮氣地說道：「Your lovely guest almost killed one of my guys with this piece of shit.」（你可愛的客人差點用這個垃圾殺了我的一個手下。）白髮老者用手指了指Cathy被銬在身後的雙手，說道：「 Could you please?」（你能否？）

Boss給Cathy打開了手銬，領著另外一個黑衣人走出了辦公室。 白髮老者微笑著對Cathy說道：「I am sorry ，Cathy.I did not expect we will meet in this way.What do you want for drink?」（對不起，凱斯。我沒想到我們會以這種方式見面。你想喝點什麼嗎？）Cathy揉著被手銬硌疼的手腕，惱怒地說道：「Who are you? Where are my husband and my son?」（你是誰？我丈夫和兒子在哪裡？）白髮老者依舊微笑著說道：「My name is Stanley,I am the special advisor to the Prime Minister.Your family are being taken a very good care of somewhere in this building now.What can I get for you to drink? Coffee or tea?」（我叫斯坦利，我是總理的特別顧問。你的家人在這處大樓的某個地方，被很好的照看著。你需要喝什麼？咖啡還是茶？）Cathy依舊警惕地看著他，說道：「How did you know my name? What do you want to do with me and my family?」（你怎麼知道我的名字的？你想從我和我的家人這裡得到什麼？）Stanley沒有回答她的問題，自言自語地說道：「I believe Chinese people like tea more than coffee ,right?」（我相信中國人喜歡茶多過咖啡，對吧？）

Stanley走到放在辦公室角落裡的小桌旁，用一個精緻的茶杯泡了一杯茶水，又慢慢走回Cathy身旁，把茶杯遞給了她，說道：「I hope this can help you relax a little bit.」（我希望這能幫你放鬆一點。）Cathy接過杯子捧在手裡，並沒有喝，然而也不再說話，只是看著Stanley。Stanley靠著辦公桌彎腰站在Cathy面前，像一位老父親一樣慈祥地看著她，說道：「You are the same age as my daughter.Do not be afraid.We won』t hurt you and your family at all.Your husband needs a surgery and he is in the medical department now.Your son is playing with some other little kids.I just need to have a talk with you.We need your help.Actully,can I ask you to do me a favor?」（你和我的女兒一樣大。別害怕。我們絕不會傷害你和你的家人。你的丈夫需要做手術，他現在在醫療部。你的兒子在和其他孩子一起玩耍。我只需要和你聊一聊。我們需要你的幫助。事實上，我能請你幫我個小忙嗎？）Cathy疑惑地看著他，說道：「What are you talking about?You want me to help you terrorists?」（你在說些什麼？你想讓我幫助你們這些恐怖分子？）Stanley呵呵一笑，說道：「No,no ,Honey.We are not terrorists.We are working for our government.」（不，不，親愛的。我們不是恐怖分子。我們是在為我們的政府工作。）Cathy冷笑著說道：「I am young but I am not stupid.Thoses guys in black are killing people on the street and they caused this biggest unrest of Canada.How dare you say you are working for our government?」（我年輕，但是我並不傻。那些穿黑衣服的人正在大街上殺害人們，是他們導致了這場加拿大最大的動亂。你怎麼敢說你是在為我們的政府工作？）Stanley說道：「The politics is not so simple as you thought ,Honey.You will understand it in the future.And you will accept what we have said and what we have done.But now ,I need your cooperation.」（政治不是你所想的那麼簡單的，親愛的。你在將來會理解的。你也會接受我們所說的和所做的一切。但是現在，我需要你的配合。）Cathy「哼」了一聲，說道：「I am not interested in politics at all.I am afraid I can do nothing for you.Sorry.」（我對政治一點都不感興趣。恐怕我不能為你做什麼，抱歉。）Stanley說道：「No ,you are not.But it looks your husband is interested in politics very much.He is one of the biggest sponsers of the opposition party.」（是，你做不了。但是你的丈夫似乎對政治非常感興趣。他是反對黨的最大的一位贊助人。）Cathy聳了一下肩，說道：「This is a democratic country.He has his right to choose the party he likes.」（這是一個民主國家。他有他的權利來選擇他喜歡的政黨。）Stanley輕輕一點手指，說道：「That is why we ask for your help. We need you to help him change his mind.」（這就是為什我們尋求你的幫助。我們需要你幫他改一下主意。）Cathy斷然地說道：No, I can not! I respect his choice and I will follow him.（不，我不能！我尊重他的選擇，而且我也會跟從他。）Stanley站直了身體，抱著雙臂說道：「Well, that is not a good way to cooperate, my darling. You should think about it carefully before you make a decision. I know you love your husband and your son very much. You do not want to lose them, do you?」（好吧，這可不是一個合作的好方式，親愛的。你應該在做決定之前慎重的思考一下。我知道你非常愛你的丈夫和兒子。你並不想失去他們，對吧？）Cathy瞪圓了眼睛看著Stanley，說道：「Are you threatening me? 」（你在威脅我嗎？）Stanley依舊微笑著說道：「No, no. I am just helping you to make a correct decision. Let me show you something first.」（不，不。我正在幫你做一個正確的決定。讓我先給你看樣東西。）
