得獎故事：千萬不要惹河馬（近似雙語）

      物理課上Mrs Lanin說三月份要去Barry farm郊遊考察物理現象。中午我們打球時，昨天的初學者又來了，他進步真快今天比昨天打的好多了。電影課上的故事競賽，我們小組進入了決賽。最後的結果出來，我們居然贏了。而且我們編的故事讓我們得出結論：千萬不要惹河馬。 放學後去打網球，我學到不少，同時也凍得要死。打完球，Drago送我回家，要不然真要凍感冒了。晚上做英語作業居然花了一小時，真是太長了。
    011917    Thursday      Add clothes when you feel cold
    In AP Physics, Mrs. Lenin announced that there』d be a field trip to the 「Barry Farm」 to investigate something about Physics. The field trip would cost us $31. It required at least 20 people to go, and there were only 26 of us. Well, 18 of us already agreed to go(including me), the remaining people were still considering, but 2 of them would definitely go. It』d happen in March, so we didn』t have to worry about it for now.
    At noon, we played Ping Pong again. Maiko, the beginner from yesterday, showed up again, and he』s doing better than yesterday. He』s really a fast learner, which made me impressed. What impressed me the most was some skillful people showed up as well, and the atmosphere turned very competitive. We』d do that again tomorrow, but it wouldn't last very long because we』d have the 「Rally」 schedule, or an important event of the school, which would occupy us half an hour.
    In Animation Class, the competition of short stories continued: Our group won the first and second game previously, so we were in the finals! Our brain, Sean, came up with the idea of (I don』t remember now, it』s confusing for me). Anyway, we got a draw with the other group! Voting was 4:4! What a rare outcome!
    We played the second round since it』s a draw, but Sean was in an urgent to pee, so Nicholas and I had to create another idea. It was really difficult for us because Mr. Murray only gave us 5 minutes this time, the reason behind it was to see our creativity in a short amount of time. Nicholas had the idea of a hippo holding a lot of food in the zoo, I came up with the idea that a monkey wanted the hippo』s food, but hippo denied it. So, the monkey tried to steal it, but it was perceived by the hippo. He was beaten up really hard, what』s worse, the entire zoo was despising him due to his theft. So, the monkey learned a lesson: Never mess with a hippo.

     Our story won the second round, so the three of us were the winner! I didn't really make a big contribution because these two native Americans were so creative that I couldn't help much. The major reason was: I couldn't even understand the plot of the story, it didn't make any sense to me. So, I gotta get used to it, it's their sense of humor.
    After school, I went to play tennis, despite the fact that I didn』t bring the racquet today due to my worriness of the rain. You know, it was raining in the morning, so I thought i』d keep raining for the rest of the day, however, the sky became clear in the afternoon! Well, Coach Al borrowed me one of his racquets, which was really nice of him. I got to play tennis, and I reviewed a lot of things. But, it turned really cold at 4:30, and I didn』t know to put on my jacket until I couldn't withstand it anymore. What was I thinking? How could I be so dull? Despite the coldness that had been chilling my bones?
    I asked my friend, Drago, to give me a ride home. I met his mother and sister, and we had a little conversation. After I reached home, I appreciated for their kindness, and went in the house. I suddenly realized that I might catch a little cold because my nostrils were producing nasal mucus, a little. I should start drinking ginger soup now. I should』ve been aware of my danger when it was cold, otherwise this wouldn't happen.
    At night, my time was spent on doing the English homework. It was a really long article that it took me nearly an hour to finish! What』s more, there were questions about it, and I had to answer all of them! Well, I still finished it, though I felt tired after doing it. I should do more reading, otherwise, I』d encounter more trouble like this in the future.
