道德經 第六十二章
道者萬物之奧,善人之寶,不善人之所保。
美言可以市,尊行可以加人。
人之不善,何棄之有。
故立天子置三公,雖有拱璧以先駟馬,不如坐進此道。
古之所以貴此道者何,不曰求以得,有罪以免邪。
故為天下貴。

道就是萬物深奧的機理。高明的人珍視遵循萬物的機理。不高明的人,也受到萬物機理的約制。
好聽的言語,可以獲得回報。受尊敬的行為,可以增加人品價值。
就是不高明的人,也丟棄不了道的存在。
因而說,推立天子及設置三大輔臣,縱然有四匹馬的車才能裝載的大寶玉,也抵不上向天子進獻天道萬物奧秘機理的價值貴重。
自古以來,人們珍視遵循道的機理是什麼原因,不用說以道獲得需要的結果,碰到差錯的時候也可以避免走彎邪路。
因此,萬物道的奧秘規律,受到天下人的珍視。
The law of heaven is the mysterious
logic of everything. The clever persons consider this as their treasure. The
unclever persons consider it as the rule.
The sweet words can get rewarding
response. The respective behaviors can add value to your life.
Even the unclever person can not
ignore the presence of law of heaven.
Therefore, when the emperor is
crowned and the three major ministers were appointed, the great jade that have
to be loaded by 4-horses carriage is less value as providing the law of heaven
to the emperor.
Since ancient, the reason that people
prize the value of law of heaven, is not only to say for pursuing the good
result by following the law of heaven, but also avoiding detours while coming
across fault.
Therefore, people under the heaven,
prize the law of heaven.
