A Win For Trump Is A Win For Chinese Americans

Dear Mr. President，

I, Long David Liu, am proud to have earned over 40% of the vote in the California 49th Assembly District, one of the largest showings for any Republican in this district in recent memory. In fact, I have raised a higher percentage of support as a Republican candidate than any other Republican in the entire Los Angeles County. This achievement is not just a personal victory; it is a direct reflection of the growing desire among Californians for real change and a return to common-sense values.

Before this year』s California Republican Convention, I called on the Chinese American community to sign a shirt in support of you. The response was overwhelming, especially from the people of Arcadia. We marched proudly in the community carrying your flag, rallying support for your campaign. The sound of car horns, the applause of the crowd, and the heartfelt voices of our community all expressed our deep hope for your victory. 

On that shirt, we wrote the hopes and dreams of countless Chinese American youth, all wishing for your election. At the convention, I personally handed this shirt, filled with the expectations of so many in our community, to your daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, asking her to pass it on to you. I told her, "This t-shirt represents the love and support from Chinese Americans for President Trump, your father-in-law." She replied, "This is so beautiful!"

Although I gave her the shirt months before the election, I had already shown what I believed would be the outcome of the election. This shirt is more than just clothing. It carries our voices, our hopes, and our unwavering belief that the day you take office will also be the day the Chinese American community has its moment to shine.

This win is a critical part of a larger movement that has already begun to reshape California. And it is thanks to the victory of President Donald Trump that we are able to stand here today, poised to flip California red, district by district. President Trump』s leadership has energized conservatives across the state, and we are now seeing the results of his vision and commitment to restoring America's greatness that includes a prosperous, safe, and free California.

As an attorney, I am deeply committed to the principles of common sense and parental rights. However, for these principles to thrive, we need strong leadership and unwavering support at the highest levels. This is why President Trump』s recognition and backing are absolutely essential. His endorsement will not only validate the hard work of our grassroots efforts but also provide the necessary momentum to continue flipping California』s districts and advancing conservative values statewide.

Without President Trump』s leadership, California would remain locked in a cycle of failed policies that have only weakened our economy, undermined public safety, and stifled the potential of our people.
