Though a bit cold, 

still a fine day to walk in nature. 

Sky velvet blue, clouds snow white, 

leaves fell without a sound, 

birds chirping in a crystal clear way 

like the air that I breathe. 

Such a fine gifted afternoon, 

I thank God 

who created all these beautiful ornaments and gifts 

for us to enjoy, 

and most of all the sun

that brings warmth and delight into our hearts.

What's the name of this little bird? 

Land on my hand will you? 

If peace and joy has an outer appearance,

it should look exactly like this little bird, 

it will come upon you 

when you choose to let it land, 

so be quiet and stay still.

To me meditating is 

doing simple things 

such as

taking care of my plants

since it's something I like doing

so my mind can be very still while doing

there are a few things going on here:

first I enjoy doing

second I practice doing

third I get reward from doing

(The well-being and prosperity of the plants) 

fourth almost as a by-product 

I gain peaceful mind from the doing

which is exactly the spirit of meditation

but it could work in an opposite way

meaning, doing things don't like

even extremely don't like

Yet, you can still have the stillness of the mind 

just like those stones by the river

balanced in a critical and unique way

It's easy to stay calm and be grateful

when things are in your favor

That's called human nature

If you can stay calm and be grateful

When things are against your favor

that's called practice towards supernatural
