Hi, respected Mr. Obama!

My heart was shock by the photo that you sworn the U.S. president when you were first elected and put your hand on the Bible,it was not long time after I had been a religious investigator.I was a little worldly: the U.S. president is not stupid,he believes in God!As an ordinary person,I will ponder and seek instead of puffed up.Thank you for your witness for God as a respected president!

As a president,some others maybe suspected if it』s a political skepticism.Please forgive a native Chinese who has this doubt!I did not ponder until I saw all the experts and scientists who surveyed the crashed accident of STS challenger, swearing while putting their hands on the Bible:I see that a person would responsible for God,and this God is conscience lived in his heart.It』s the most fundamental that one must be responsible for his own life and heart!

I happened to 「hear」 a story from someone else,it』s about one of his friens:after a fire in a drpartment,the police asked a Chinese student to write down the list of losses,and he was told that he would never be suspected whether he had added anything else.Yeah,I understand that it』s normal in a Christian faith country. If you add something else, others may never know except youself(God knows better).A life individual to God must be responsible for his own decision:add something or not?One must be ultimately borned by himself and confessed to God about the consequences of this choice.This is the basis and fundamental for people to trust each other.

It seems that I will cotton up to you to write to you. But it』s objectively indeed.You are a president,while I am a ordinary Chinese citizen,but I firmly believe we can communicate because we are all Christians in front of the Bible.The reason why I wrote a letter to you,is omly ecause of my respeceted writer—Mr. Gu xiaojun said that he would think of to be a religious investigator if president Obama will introduce him in an article.

Mr. Gu xiaojun』s article have been blocked,and his fundamental starting point is—fair is the first human values.I believe that you were always worried and grieved about all kinds of killing each other occured in U.S. besides other places aroud the world.Gu xiaojun』s articles have gave the answer:fair is missing.Though he is a 「gentile」of Christian faith,while it』s obvious that he had a impartial and mercy in his heart ,and he can tell right from wrong in his articles.It was extremely injustices that his articles were blocked even in U.S.,the city of God.It could not be relieved!In the Bible the apostle Paul said:「when Gentiles, who do not possess the law, do instinctively what the law requies, these, though not having the law, are a law to themselves. They show that what the law requires is written on their hearts, to which their own conscience also bears witness;and their conflicting thoughts will accuse or perhaps excuse them.」If we are Christians, it』s a heavenly gift of conscience also bearing,we should be light and role modelfor gentile.we should ask ourselves when we turned a blind eye on someone if he is right and he has the wisdom of impartial

On the other hand, as Christians,we have the obligations and responsibilities to pass gospel.Mr. Gu xiaojun offered an olive branch,he hope to be a Christian religious investigator.I hope Mr. Obama would like to be his referrer,it would be a great cause for rejoicing!I thank God for this thing.

This letter dragged so long time,one reason is ,I was busy working;the other one is,it』s a very difficulty for me.You know that 「religious investigator」 is not a 「recommended」 in general sense.herein lies the most difficulty to me.Religious investigator is a person who has a spontaneous spiritual lnging,resonance and pursuitafter hearing the truth,only he can get the good fortune who has a humble heart.I thout it carefully,to recommended him anyway.Mr. Gu talked about question of faith in one of his article,he could adopt some of my opinion humbly,he was sincere, open-minded.He should not be absent from the religious onvestigator.

In the issue of fair,I had read a word with tears in the Bible: 「But let justice roll down like waters,

and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.」Everthing will lost significance whitout fair and righteousness.We would like to refueling and blessings for Gu xiaojun.Because,he is on the right way!

尊敬的奧巴馬先生，

 

您好！

 

您第一次當選，手摁聖經宣誓就職美國總統的照片深深震

 

撼了我的心，那時我做慕道友的時間還不長。當時想得比

 

較世俗：美國總統不笨不傻，信仰上帝。我作為一個普通

 

人，也該深思並尋求，而不是自高自大。謝謝你做為受人

 

尊重的總統對上帝所做的美好見證。

 

 

您作為總統，手摁聖經，在一些人眼裡，可能會有政治作

 

秀的懷疑。原諒一個土生土長什麼都懷疑的中國人這種論

 

斷吧！直到看到調查挑戰者號載人火箭升空失事的專家he

 

科學家為自己的結論或論斷手摁聖經起誓的情景，也啟迪

 

我深思：我明白了，一個人要為上帝負責，而這個上帝就

 

是住在心裡的良知。一個人只要對自己的生命和內心負責

 

才是最根本的

 

 

 

碰巧「聽」到一個人講到她的一個朋友的一個事，一個中

 

國留學生在美國的公寓發生火災，警察讓他寫損失清單，

 

寫什麼就是什麼，不會懷疑或再費警力偵查他多寫什麼。

 

是的，在信仰基督的國度，我理解這是很正常的，多寫什

 

么，別人可能永遠不會知道，但自己內心一輩子都知道

 

（神更知道）。一個向神的生命個體，是要對自己的這個

 

內心的決定負責的：多寫還是如實寫損失？這個抉擇的后

 

果，也是自己最終要承擔的，是要最後向神交待的。這就

 

是人與人互相能夠信任的基礎和根本。

 

 

寫這麼多，似乎是在和您套近乎。也確實是的。您貴為總

 

統，我為中國的一介平民，但在聖經面前，您手摁聖經，

 

相信您也是基督徒，在基督教友的層面上，我堅信是我們

 

是可以溝通的。為什麼要給你寫信，是出於我尊敬的顧曉

 

軍先生有一篇文章，說如果美國總統奧巴馬引薦他，他會

 

考慮做基督慕道友。

 

 

顧曉軍先生的文章被封殺，他文章的根本出發點是公正是

 

人類的第一價值觀，相信全世界範圍內包括美國發生的各

 

種各樣人類互殘的悲劇也時時讓您揪心和悲痛，顧曉軍先

 

生也多有這樣的分析文章：公正缺失。顧曉軍現在雖然是

 

沒有基督信仰的「外幫人」，但他的公正心﹑憐憫心﹑辨

 

別是非之心是有目共睹的，他的文章被封殺，就是極端不

 

公正的待遇，他的文章在號稱神的國度上帝之城美國一些

 

媒體上的遭遇也是讓人不能釋懷的。聖經里使徒保羅說過

 

「沒有律法的外幫人若順著本性行律法上的事，他們雖然

 

沒有律法，自己就是自己的律法。這是顯出律法的功用刻

 

在他們心裡，他們的是非之心同做見證，並且他們的思念

 

互相較量，或以為是，或以為不是」。若說我們是基督

 

徒，應該在是非之心上是有屬天的恩賜，應該做外幫人的

 

光和榜樣，如果人家說得有理且具有公正之心的智慧，卻

 

視而不見，是不是我們該捫心自問了。

 

 

 

從另一層面，作為基督徒，是有傳福音的義務和責任的。

 

現在顧曉軍先生竟然自己伸出了橄欖枝，希望做基督慕道

 

友，希望奧巴馬先生引薦，做為基督徒，這是多大的美事

 

啊！您就快快成就這美事吧！我為這事感謝神。

 

 

這封信拖了太久，一方面是自己工作忙，另一方面是寫得

 

非常困難。因為「慕道友」確實不是一般意義上「引薦」

 

的。我寫這篇文章最困難的就在於這個地方。慕道友是一

 

個人聽到真理后的一種自發的心靈的渴慕﹑共振和追求，

 

這是一顆謙卑的心才有的福氣。但我仔細思考後，我覺得

 

說引薦也無妨，顧先生在一篇文章中談到關於信仰的問

 

題，他能謙遜地採納我的一些意見，他是真誠的，是虛懷

 

若谷的。他不應該再缺席慕道友了。

 

 

 

在公正的問題上，曾經含著淚讀到聖經的一句話：「願公

 

平如大水滾滾，使公義如江河滔滔。」沒有公平和公義，

 

什麼都沒有了意義。願我們為顧曉軍加油和祝福！因為他

 

走的是正路！
