1. On Wednesday November 12th 2014. We got to Philadelphia at about 10:00 A.M. First we went to the Philadelphia Zoo. Then at about 12:30 we went to The Eastern State Penitentiary. Once we got off the bus I saw the huge stone building which is the Penitentiary( It has a area of about 10.5 acres)
2. I liked the design of the devil on top of the penitentiary, there was 2 devils on top of the front door they are almost identical but one has its hand reaching for something and the other one is just sitting. I thought it looked amazing (But The Penitentiary is actually made to look scary. So the people don』t dare to do crime)
3. Inside the penitentiary there were many jails, cells, and doors for us to enter. It looked really holy because they want to make you reflect on what you did in the penitentiary so one you leave the penitentiary you will never commit crime again and become a better person.
4. We walked in the jail and I saw the broken cells and how weedy it was. I don』t think anyone would ever want to live there. (But that is not what the original cell look like, its just that the cell is old.)
5. We can』t enter most of the cells but there was two cells where we can enter. (probably because they were the only ones that were not destroyed and are still in one piece. I took a picture of the bed, but there is also a toilet.) I still don』t think anyone would like to live there. But I think a hobo would want to live there.
6. After we got out of the cell we keep on walking until we reach the middle of the build there was a model there it was a very nice model but it white and not as good looking as the real building. But if it was for sale I would definitely buy one as souvenir.
7. At the center of the jail I looked around and realized how good the design to it. From the middle you can see all the cells and its easier to spot if anyone is trying to escape. (from 7-10 is the view)

12. Then we left the 1st jail and went another one. This jail was for people that were put there and are going to get killed soon in another country (some were killed by a electric chair. I really wanted to see one but there was no killing in the Penitentiary.)

14. After that we went to another jail to see this one cell that is for a famous person. I felt like this many people at the time would be jealous to death. (I think people that are going to jail would love to live in that cell)
15. We went outside and I saw the watchtower and it looked very old and cool on its own but not with the Penitentiary. It was there so if anyone try to escape there will be someone to stop them. But this sometimes make escape easier they just make one rope go up to the watchtower throw the rope down go down and there.

- 像這種地方總是傳說多多~~~我問兒子那時候在裡面參觀的時候覺得陰森嗎？兒子說沒感覺，反而覺得那裡很酷，呵呵，大概是孩子的心靈太純粹，是感受不到那些鬼魅的
