Men in Heaven-天堂里的男人

When everybody on earth

was dead and waiting to enter Paradise, God appeared and said, "I want the men to make two lines. One line for the men who were true heads of their household, and the other line for the men who were dominated by their women. I want all the women to report to St. Peter."
當地球上的人都死後等著進天堂時，上帝出現了，說：「男人排兩隊，一隊是家裡的真正主人，一隊是在家聽老婆的。所有的女人都去到聖-皮得那裡去報到。」

Soon, the women were gone, and there were two lines of men. The line of the men who were dominated by their wives was 100 miles long, and in the line of men who truly were heads of their household, there was only one man.

女人很快離開了，剩下的男人排成兩隊。聽老婆話的那對排了一百多里，而另一隊只有一個人。

God said to the long line, "You men should be ashamed of yourselves, I created you to be the head of your household! You have been disobedient and have not fulfilled your purpose! Of all of you, only one obeyed. Learn from him."

上帝對那一長隊說：「你們這些男人該為自己感到害臊，我創製了你們是讓你們當家做主的，你們卻聽老婆的，真讓我失望。你們之中只有一個聽了我的話了，聽聽他咋說吧」

God turned to the one man, "How did you manage to be the only one in this line?"

上帝轉過臉問那個男人：「你咋站到這隊了？」

The man replied, "My wife told me to stand here.

"那人膽怯地回答：「是我老婆讓我站在這裡的」。
