今天去了一家中餐館,頗有感受。按照我自己的理論,在美國不去中餐館吃飯,在中國不去西餐館吃飯。道理很簡單,美國的中餐館的味道和國內的正宗中餐館沒法比,差好幾個數量級。同樣的道理,中國的西餐館,如義大利,墨西哥,阿根廷燒烤,泰國餐和法國餐館的食物和人家本國的食物也差很遠!口味不好不說,還浪費錢。
即便是在中國的美國連鎖西餐店,如Friday,也比美國的差不少。就拿牛排來說,美國的牛排,一分錢一分貨,中國西餐店牛排說美國原材料,一吃就知道是國產貨,牛肉的部位也不對,做工不精細。
眾所周知,在美國的中國餐館檔次不高,賣不起好價錢,一份菜能賣個25USD, 已經相當不錯了。在Chinatown,如NYC或者SF,就更便宜了!外賣、大排檔更是低得嚇人!今晚去的這家中餐館,主人就不一樣,來一個中餐西做。因為老美同事執意要來,不得已來了。一看菜單,傻眼了,整個一個全盤西化:瞧: Appetizers
