Petition To President Obama,
Commander-In-Chief
We, the undersigned, urge our people to cry out for justice in the
death of Danny Chen. Danny Chen was a patriotic Private serving his
country in Afghanistan. He was tormented to death by his superiors and
comrades.
Recently, the most severe charge, involuntary manslaughter,
against the first soldier to undergo a pretrial investigation, was recommended to be dropped, WITHOUT an explanation. A group of elected officials focused so much on "training programs against bullying and hazing in the military" as if they aimed to redirect our attention.
WHY WAS THE MOST SEVERE CHARGE TO BE DROPPED?
CAN ANY TRAINING PROGRAMS BE EFFECTIVE, IF THE GUILTY ONES ARE LET OFF EASY?
It must be justice first, training programs second. Then
and only then, will America again have an armed service that fights
effectively against our enemies but doesn't racially abuse its own comrades to suicide.
We cry out for JUSTICE FIRST, Mr. President.
