中國2009年外匯儲備餘額突破兩萬億美元，達到2.399萬億美元，領先全球各先進國家。

　　報道稱，全球經濟在2009年逐步恢復，各國外匯儲備亦顯著回升。據統計，中國外儲佔全球儲備比重達到30.7%，相較G7國家多不少。

　　綜合各地儲備數字，金磚四國(即中國、俄羅斯、巴西及印度)位居前列。儲備總和達到3.307萬億美元，佔全球儲備比重42.3%，而G7則只有1.24萬億美元；難怪新興市場在2010年仍然是全球基金的投資焦點。

　　報道稱，中國2009年外儲增幅超過23%，約2.399萬億美元，相當於G7的1.93倍。作為G7成員國的日本，儲備約有一萬億美元，是第二豐厚儲備的國家。

　　根據調查，在全球十大儲備國家中，亞洲地區佔有七席。至於美國，外匯儲備只有454億美元，較奈及利亞(430億美元)僅多出24億美元。（據法制晚報）

　　

　　外匯儲備，指一國政府所持有的國際儲備資產中的外匯部分，即一國政府保有的以外幣表示的債權。外匯儲備是一個國家國際清償力的重要組成部分，同時對於平衡國際收支、穩定匯率有重要的影響。
