妹妹，
姐姐有事情請妹妹幫忙。 姐的大學同學易泓在美國做博士后，近日攜夫君到加拿大旅遊，被旅行社誤導，持中國護照進入加拿大，旅遊結束后，在回美過關時被拒，現被困於溫哥華一家旅館數日。無法趕回美國完成博士后論文答辯。丈夫則順利回到美國后，獨自困在美國的家中等候妻子回歸，由於不諳英語，惶恐不安。
請看以下的來信。如果在溫哥華的網友知道何處可以找到美國駐加拿大總領事館，並幫助她準備重新獲得進入美國的簽證，丹奇不勝感激。

In the case of a life or death emergency involving a United States citizen, call 604 685 4311. A Duty Officer is available 24 hours a day.
Surrendering a legal permanent resident card ("green card"), verifying departure from the U.S., and filing an I-130 immigrant visa petition can be done a on walk-in basis, Monday - Thursday, 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm.
