Jury trial, judge trial, what is the difference?

正在研究怎麼上法庭去免除那張交通罰單，一上來就碰到這個問題。
jury trial or judge trial按題意， jury trial 應該是陪審團（也就是普通百姓）說了算， judge trial應該是法官說了算。 但聽到現在， 好象上交通法庭的都是法官說了算的啊，沒聽說過陪審團啊。
要說讓我選的話， 我會選jury trial， 我覺得陪審員更會向著人民， 法官就難說了，只能碰運氣了。

我現在想證明那位警察執法時根本就是心不在焉，地點都寫錯，罰單應該無效，他說的我在校區內超速是他弄錯了，我在校區內沒有超速， 他測的速度已經在校去外，他是在校區外250 Feet外測速，攔下我的。

這樣子，好象該選jury trial。 誰有這樣的經驗？

By setting your case for trial, you are giving up your right to require that your case be dismissed through a mandatory Driving Safety Course.
