金融危機以來,單位的生意也不景氣, 不過不能全賴金融危機, 其實很大程度是管理問題. 單位很多中層高層領導經常要做些個白痴決定, 浪費大量人力物力. 最後是公司的Owner買單, 有時候看到白痴決定, 急得恨不能馬上指出來, 不過對貓來說, 還是要理性戰勝感情, 對著天大的白痴決定也要說:高, 實在是高. 

2000年前, 趙高弄個梅花鹿在秦宮來測試群臣的反應, 2000年後, 俺開始覺得為了生存, 俺也只能低三下四的說: 煤球就是白的, 而且我還能幫領導證明一下: 白煤球是多麼正常,而且符合自然規律.

in the states, if you work for government, that is the skill you must have. if you don't have such skill, well, you would not get fired but you are going nowhere...

another thing, for the government, if you can write two pages, you shall never just write one page. for presentations, more slides always better than less slides.

a chinese term is "half bottle", well, trust me, tons of "1/3 bottles" or even less sit on the top posts and make decisions...

that's so true. sad but true. i couldn't agree more on "more slides always better than less". even on the exam, if you can write more pages, say they are just all craps, yet ur teacher will think you did a better job than those who write less pages but with useful staff on it.
