I knew a guy from top university in China visit some websites in the office and brought some virus into the system, company's network had been down for a week. Late they had to pay $500/hr for some experts to fix the problem. Once he got caught, he got fired immediately. Surly if he had known that, he would never do that.

All institutions have similar policies, most blocking social medias. Thus person must think the way things are run hete is the same as in China wgete blocking sites is more thorough, actoss the entire country, and whete such actions is mostly for political reasons. A slave of the CCP mind controlling system cannot understand that othets do no do that.

At least we do not block Chobese propaganda sutes and even allow selling of CCP controlled papers. The school' s action had nothing to do with censorship, all tp do with cyber security. After all China champions the world in hackyong, and using illegal versions of software that often carries virus and pther malicipus bugs. Apple got hit only weeks ago. Wht shouldn' t the school be worrying about? All institutions shpuld do the same. You like your sites, go back.
