well, what you said is true, what i posted was not incorrect either. i knew some cases like that. in fact, it is common practice for some manufactures doing that...
marnifan: LV,Gucci or whatever brand, it does not have to be a namebrand, are selling their original design//creativity, if there is the demand, they can mark
original creativity? well a bit over stretch... i don't deny some of those brands have good quality in terms of manufacturing, and use high quality materials. but in most cases, what those euro trashy brands are selling are marketing skills.
i use "armani" frames. but the name wasn't the reason i bought them (i always get pairs for redundancy reason). it was on sale (45% off, as i can remember) and the quality was good. with that two reasons, why should i choose other products?
i don't pretend to be anything and personally i don't need any "brand name" to sustain my self esteem...
as to those buying "fake" "名牌", in my opinion, those euro trashy "brand name" market their products on the conscious of people's self image (actually self esteem?), those "名牌" are fake in that sense. so those people buying "fake" "名牌" and those "名牌" companies are just using each other. not something great, but not something i would cry over for it...
well, pollution is a big issue for china, especially in big cities. but i think people in china and the government start realizing the problem and working on the issue.
i guess we are too young to remember the era of the great smog of london in 1952 and the dead smelly thames river that took over two decades to clean it.
