吃龍蝦以廣東式為上品;用豆豉,蒜粒,肉粒,起鑊。熟後加蔥花,雞蛋,起鑊。
許多年前,緬省九十五公路旁有龍蝦店,最平宜是「單鉗」龍蝦---打折扣
又公路旁旅店常有特價龍蝦餐---兩隻收一隻價錢。

曾慕名到緬省一個叫new port的town吃龍蝦, 失望得很, 只在一個類似商店的地方找到龍蝦, 這些龍蝦個頭也沒NYC的大, 烹調也不講究, 不是原只灼熟,就是拆肉成絲, 沒有什麼特點, 還非常貴. 真是出處不如聚處.

你那時是好時節,抵食。現在是產龍蝦淡季,這裡吃龍蝦就配一小碟沙拉牛油,但龍蝦肉本身就鮮美

new port不靠海,但城小有特色。龍蝦肉絲餡餅也是緬因州的特色美食

還是俺吃的地方便宜,MarketBasket。經常有軟殼的,又好切,又好做,又好扒,而且又便宜,味道也不錯。

Boston University 邊上就有這麼一個中國餐館,有豆豉,蔥姜,椒鹽等幾種選擇。雙龍蝦12塊錢。買來以後先看一看,是不是有兩個尾巴在裡面。那是很久以前的事了。

LOBSTER FACT: Did you know that it takes about seven years for a lobster to grow to 1 pound (the approximate legal size, at which point they're called "chickens")?
By the way, October is Maine Lobster Month.

And the answer is.... ...
That's correct. But forget that, here is what my co-worker thought about being a chicken lobster. He thought that as a lobster was growing up, it lost a claw or two because of trap or something, then it became scared and jumpy like a chicken easily being scared away. When I heard that, I couldn't stop laughing, especially he was using his hand to demonstrate how a lobster lost a claw.

三Y老豆: 還未到盛產龍蝦的季節。再說了,我們為省錢,只點了兩磅以下的龍蝦,這也要二十多美元一隻啊
也比我們這便宜啦~悉尼一般吃一隻龍蝦得$200以上(3kg左右)

did you pick up lobsters and the restaurant charged different prices based on the lobster's size?  I guess the restaurant had a menu to set up a uniform price?

besides, which town/city is the restaurant located?
