應該如何迴向才能使親人得到益處呢？

問：在做功德迴向時，應該迴向給法界一切父母眾生。但我還是希望自己的父母健康，孩子考試順利。請問大恩上師，應該如何迴向才能使親人得到益處呢？

答：能夠迴向給一切眾生，這其中就都包括了你的父母，你的兒女。這樣比單獨迴向給他們，所得到的功德、善根更大。能做到迴向給一切眾生是最好的。如果實在做不到，心裡實在放不下，就先迴向給一切眾生，再單獨迴向給父母、兒女，這樣也可以。為什麼要把功德迴向給一切眾生，很多人還是沒有真正明白這個道理。若是明白了，你的功德、善根、福德就都變得不可思議了，對父母、對兒女就更有利益了。
」



Q: After doing some good deeds, the merits should be dedicated to all sentient beings in the whole Dharmadhatu. But I still hope that my parents will be healthy and my children will pass exams. So will the Guru of Great Kindness tell me how I should dedicate the merits so that my family can get the benefits?

A: When you dedicate merits to all sentient beings, your parents and children are included, so they can get more merits and good roots than when you dedicate merits only to them. It is the best to dedicate to all beings. If you can』t make it or let go of the family, you can dedicate merits to all beings first, and then to your family, which is also OK. Many people haven』t understood yet why merits should be dedicated to all beings. If they get to understand it, the merits, good roots and fortune will become incredible, and their parents and children will get more benefits.
