- "紀念韓戰"??? A totally nonsense bullshit expression! What they 紀念 is 抗美援朝 --- The war between US/UN and China! They honor it because the war 抗美援朝 was actively waged in Dec 1950 by new China to protect the nation's geographic interest and a response to the US's military involvement into the Taiwan island (July 1950, after beginning of "韓戰"). "韓戰" (June or July? 1950, before 抗美援朝) was before it and was not waged by China and was an internal thing within Koreans and none of US's business. You don't honor things that are not belong to you!
