- Mainland is closing -in on the island is right, for the island is a Chinese property. Mainland has the right to do it. The leader of the island said" they'll fight to the last man" . For sure, the man said it won't fight himself. Even it really happened that way, mainland has no option but to take the island by force if they go on independence, for China cannot afford to lose the island to the Americans. Otherwise, China would be losing the whole country including one hundred and forty million people instead of 23,000,000 on the island. This is not a joke, people on the island must understand it. mak
