Again, The nation used to called The Republic of China is non exist any more since 1973 the day it got expelled from the United Nations and the word Taiwan is a geographical name means a Chinese island located at western Pacific Ocean.They cannot call an island a nation. It is fine the people of the island run themselves for awhile, but, when the time is right they better unify with mainland in order to move-on and have better life for the people before everything on the island's keeps on going down hill and the island of Taiwan become another Easter island. mak

- The truth is Taiwan would has even more freedom and democracy after unification. At lease it would be free from under control of an north American country. It won't get blackmails from time to time to spend big money to buy 2nd hand weapons and pay protection fees, and the living standard of the people shall be improved dramatically. mak
