我放在寄存櫃頂上的物品被寄存公司扔掉了
我的寄存櫃滿了,一些物品只好放在櫃頂上,同時有時有些物品是濕的,比如下雨後的雨傘,雨衣,洗了滴干水的濕衣服,不能放在櫃里,只能放在櫃頂上。
我上周六去機場上班前,寄存櫃頂上放了很多東西,大件的三輛行李車,兩個空背包,一個電飯鍋,一張疊好的篷布,四把雨傘,還有一些小東西,其中最重要的是眼鏡。那是我新配的眼鏡。還有兩三個大空瓶子,四件衣服,其中兩件是剛洗了滴干水的。8月30日我返回寄存公司,櫃頂上的物品都不見了。推測是寄存公司的工作人員乾的。
昨晚我問辦公室的一個半黑男員,他說模糊記得周日看見有三四輛行李車的物品被清潔工扔掉。他說被扔了就無法追回。他說工作人員扔我寄存櫃頂上的物品,應該提前通知我。
今天早上,我問辦公室的另一個半黑男員,他說如果這是工作人員扔的,不會提前通知我,我說我想要一份報告,他說不給出報告。
下午,我寫了一封類似投訴信的文章,意圖發郵件給該寄存公司的總公司,寫完后查其網頁,發現要投訴只能打其客服電話,沒有郵箱可以發。於是打其客服電話。
接電話先是一個女員,聽完我的描述,她說工作人員見到寄存櫃頂上有物品,就可以拿走,因為要保持乾淨。我說物品被工作人員拿走,和被人偷走是不一樣的,工作人員拿走,卻沒有處理流程,沒有文件記載,怎麼和被偷走區分?
她把電話轉給一個男員。男員說工作人員清走寄存櫃頂上的物品,需要提前幾天通知該柜子的租客,如果租客不回復,再清理。我說這次沒人通知我。他說沒通知,但物品已經被扔,也追不回來了,沒有什麼能做的。他顯然臨場編瞎話說,我今天早上問的辦公室的那個男員就是經理,經理說在清走我的物品時打了電話給我,但打的是我的寄存櫃的隔壁柜子的租客的電話,打錯了電話,所以沒聯繫上我。我說那個男員今天已經打電話給你了,難以置信。我說我打這個電話,並不能為我追回任何損失,我是因為丟失的物品中有我的新眼鏡,是重要物品,被工作人員扔東西前沒有告知我,我覺得不高興,才打電話給寄存公司總公司,我打電話給你們只是告訴你們在公司里發生的事。
他說寄存櫃的物品丟失,處理流程是找警察出報告,再由保險公司賠償,但寄存櫃外頂上的物品丟失不賠。
Hi, I rent a locker at xxxx and the number is xxxx. I left four days and came back yesterday on 8/30. I found that things I stored on top of my locker all disappeared. Not only big items such as 3 baggage carts, two backpacks, electric cooker, but small things such as eye drops and eye glasses I put in the iron gap also disappeared. Those things are not visible if you stand on floor. Someone has to climb up on ladder to check if there is anything on the roof of the lockers. I believe this was done by staff.
The storage company has rules that cannot store things on top of lockers. If the management enforces this rule, are there better ways such as giving me oral warnings in advance and let me comply and clean up myself? Or at the time of cleaning up give me a call, and my cell phone numer and email is on the office computer.
I am homeless and regularly show up in the site, almost all the staff members are familiar about me. If they think this is a serious issue that I must correct, they can easily tell me in person or call me.
These time my biggest loss is the brand new pres**tion glasses, with a sort of other things.
I inquired a gentleman clerk in office this morning. He said if this was done by staff, they don't need to call me, and don't have any report. He said if I store things on top of locker I can be evicted.
It appears there is no procedure about how to remove things that a client stores on top of locker. No call or notice for clients in advance and no documentation.
I know that I cannot recover anything I lost this time. But can anyone in management help me find out that things lost on top of my locker this time was an staff action, or it was a theft? I cannot change anything. I only need an answer about who did it.
把重要的眼鏡放在那裡是敗筆。和一般人相比,我做事是少有的牢靠,但仍然這裡那裡出錯,並且很多錯誤導致了損失。
