If you must love me,let it be for naught

Except for love's sake only.Do not say

I love for her smile ----her look----her way of speaking gently----for a trick of thought

That falls in well with mine,and certes brought

A sense of pleasant ease on such a day------

For these things in themselve,Beloved

May be changed,or change for you----and love,so wrought,may be unwrought so

Neither love for thine own dear ptiy's wiping my cheeks dry

A creature might forget to weep,who bore try comfort long,and lose the love there by!

But love me for love's sake ,that even more

You must love on,through love's eternity

如果你一定愛我，就別問什麼緣由

只為愛而愛吧，不要說

我愛她的微笑------她的容貌------她的細語溫存------愛她的心思靈慧

正與我的心意相契相投

在那樣的日子裡曾給我怡人的鬆弛

我親愛的，因為這些東西

都有可能因你而改變，而失去---而愛，也許因此相遇，也許因此分離

也不要因為憐憫而愛我，來拭去我臉上的淚滴

長久地接受你的慰藉，那造物者捏出的東西，或許會忘卻哭泣，也會因此而丟棄你！

甚至丟棄更多，但只為愛而愛我吧

這樣你就能穿越那永恆的愛，永遠永遠地愛下去
