The importance of location of the Solomon Islands to the Americans is as importance as the South China Sea to the Chinese, they both serve the same purpose of guarding the life sea lines. Solomon islands are located right at the sea line between America and Australia and almost 1/2 of America's industrial raw materials like iron comes from Australia. That was why in 2nd WW Japan and America fought with everything they had to get control of that area. This time it won't be any war due to Chinese are smarter than the Japs. mak
