Happy New Year

With happiness I welcome the New Year

With warmth I meet people here and there

Sun is shining bright over the ground

Like baby face happy and round

The sun warms your body and soul with grace

Delighted even find the cloud around sun like lace

Moon is half month shy and half month full

Wind sometimes strong sometimes cool

High mountains with snow white on top

Shallow stream reflecting light and spot

Looking back I have success and regret

Hoping in the new year I do mostly correct

Happily all year round with family and friends

No pandemic, no fear just goodwill extends

Let the world be global villages again

People of different countries travel by plane or train

Culture and languages are different

People of all nations are diligent

Let the people be peace loving, prosperous sharing

Everyone enjoys flourishing day and quiet evening.
