那誰誰說的,人與人的不同在於業餘時間。很慚愧,我的最大愛好是睡懶覺,尤其是周末,一覺起來再怎麼也過9點,有時甚至11點啦。
長工不得不承包了早飯。我得了便宜學賣乖,一般會主動做午飯晚飯。晚飯當然要精心泡製的,但午飯就能簡就簡了。很多時候想簡單也不行呢,即便做個以面為主的午餐,也得弄出湯麵、撈麵(味道濃郁些,長工獨享),外加一碟綠葉菜一碟肉片。。。哈哈,誰叫我自己無湯不歡,長工無味不歡,女兒無菜不歡,兒子無肉不歡呢?!
如此這般,我還是有點怕做午飯,時不時借故逃避。比如今天,兒女嚷著要吃pizza,我當然就順水推舟啦,買吧! 沒想到長工倒要逆水行舟, 他要自己做pizza! 從網上找來recipe,再把麵粉、yeast、番茄醬、cheese一樣樣把東西找齊,他開始動手和面啦。嘿嘿,只要不需我動手,管你是買來還是home made 呢。
這次又是得了便宜, 我還是學賣乖吧。 長工在廚房倒騰的功夫,咱教孩子學中文,裝模作樣地履行賢妻良母的角色呢。
一會的功夫,pizza的香味飄然而至,我一看,樣子很不錯哦;咬一口,喔,香鬆軟,比Papa Jones有過之而無不及。
這是長工第一次嘗試做pizza,沒想到能大獲成功!他大受鼓舞,表示要再接再厲,下周做不同topping的pizza。嘿嘿,我又將可以逃避做午飯啦。

飯後甜點---臘八那天煮的八寶粥(黑糯米、黑芝麻、核桃、百合、紅豆、黑豆、紅棗、玉米渣、薏米。。。)
還有不太成功的烤栗子(不知何故,不太容易剝皮)
附pizza製作方法:
Jay's Signature Pizza Crust
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
Directions
- In a large bowl, dissolve the yeast and brown sugar in the water, and let sit for 10 minutes.
- Stir the salt and oil into the yeast solution. Mix in 2 1/2 cups of the flour.
- Turn dough out onto a clean, well floured surface, and knead in more flour until the dough is no longer sticky. Place the dough into a well oiled bowl, and cover with a cloth. Let the dough rise until double; this should take about 1 hour. Punch down the dough, and form a tight ball. Allow the dough to relax for a minute before rolling out. Use for your favorite pizza recipe.
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). If you are baking the dough on a pizza stone, you may place your toppings on the dough, and bake immediately. If you are baking your pizza in a pan, lightly oil the pan, and let the dough rise for 15 or 20 minutes before topping and baking it.
- Bake pizza in preheated oven, until the cheese and crust are golden brown, about 15 to 20 minutes.
Easy Pizza Sauce III
Ingredients
- 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon ground oregano
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dried minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon ground paprika
Directions
- In a medium bowl, Mix together tomato sauce and tomato paste until smooth. Stir in oregano, garlic and paprika.
