本周一,正在上一年級的女兒的作業是

答:it rape's (她是想寫:It repeats. )

答:I don't hav eny question abot poetry (懶得想)
問:Poets write about things they love, What are some things you love?
答:(脫口而出的是Candy!,想想覺得似乎不妥,寫下的是:)flowr's
問:Use three words to describe something you love.
答:flowrs smel god (即flowers smell good)(數了數,三個詞,妥了。我說老師要你們寫關於花給你留下的三個不同方面的印象。於是又寫了:)look prity thar or ol ki's (look pretty, there are all kinds)
女兒這次作業算是應付過去了。據說第二天就要在學校談關於詩的話題了。不知道下周的作業是否有機會表現出進步。
不過說老實話,青春期才是學詩的好時光。
另外呢,她四歲左右的時候,是一個天才詩人。隨口說出的就是些有意思的打油詩。最近這方面的光芒黯淡下去了。
話說回來。她那天正好放假一周后,第一天回學校,壓根不想做作業。我就讓她應付過去,因為實在不指望她明白啥叫詩。不過對付完作業,她就興高采烈地翻出她認為最地道的詩集A light in the Attic。指出她最喜歡的一首詩:
