May be the backchina operating mistake. The message you sent me one week before the award-presenting reappeared.

'台灣大文豪李敖'? Not quite yet, so far! i assume, even i like to read his writings when i was young. He has written many books (mainly as 'essay'), especial during his early life. His major was history in college and 2 years graduate school. A popular, talent, disputed and greater writer. He has regarded himself being out of ordinary and looked down anyone he has known or doesn't like - named by someone as 'little mad dog'. He said once that no one writes better (than him) in 500 years when he was young. Part of him may be as Lu xun, but his literature works will never reach that high level to change established traditional (cultural) customs and habits and to guide what youth will/should think and behave. 李敖 wrote only one book as 'novel'. Regarding that, 'The tears of 1,000 years (Qian nian zhi lei)' a 'little' book written by prof. Qi bang yuan discusses about more than 70 novel writers (a 'big' chapter talking about authoress, include 三毛 having 2.5 pages) and their works during '49 to late '80s may be a good reference.
