Martin Niemöller

Martin Niemöller
First they came for the Communists,
and I didn』t speak up,because I wasn』t a Communist.
Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn』t speak up,because I wasn』t a Jew.
Then they came for the trade unionists,and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist.Then they came for the Catholics,
and I didn』t speak up,because I was a Protestant.
Then they came for me,
and by that time there was no one
left to speak up for me.
起初他們(德國納粹黨)帶走共產黨員,我沒有說話,因為我不是共產黨員;
接著他們帶走猶太人,我沒有說話,因為我不是猶太人;
後來他們帶走工會成員,我還是不說話,因為我不是工會成員;
此後他們帶走天主教徒,我仍然沒有說話,因為我是新教教徒;
