More large file storages online - Updating

I don't know where I can post the proposal?  but I think if we collect some free larger file hostings online for the people(maybe >300MB per file is better), and they are actually available, it will be useful to us to exchange or share the files just like softwares, audioes, videoes or a batch of pics or other many files. So if we want to upload the file, we can do it immediately without finding them around the world.

Of course, we also need to make it clear to know which hostings are faster for the people at some where. We hope them to test the speed (uploading/downloading) and tell to us.

Do you can let the proposal known by more people and assign someone to update the main post?
